Dr. Mulholland is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Mulholland graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School as the Horner Silver Medalist. He went on to complete his specialty training at the University of Toronto in Plastic Surgery, followed by two years of fellowship training in Facial Trauma and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Oncology and is certified by the American Joint Societies in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Dr. Mulholland was formerly a consultant at the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre and St. Joseph's Hospital, where he concentrated his talents on treating complex tumours of the face, head, and neck, as well as, the repair of traumatic facial injuries.

Dr. Mulholland has dual certification in Plastic Surgery and Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. He currently restricts and focuses his practice solely to Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Mulholland is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He had been named one of Canada's top plastic surgeons by Flare Magazine, Fashion and Toronto Life magazine. SpaMedica, Dr. Mulholland's medical spa clinics have topped Toronto Life's list of top cosmetic laser skin care clinics and have recently begun franchising the SpaMedica business concept in the greater Toronto market.

Dr. Mulholland is an aesthetic artist, innovator and pioneer in the development of new cosmetic enhancement procedures and technology. Among Dr. Mulholland's numerous procedural developments, patented technologies and trademarked procedures include FotoFacial RF^®, Pan G™ - non-surgical facelift, SonoPeel™, LipoLite™, ThreadLift™, VolumaLift™, BotoFirm™, and the SpaMedica Skin, aesthetic skin care line. Dr. Mulholland teaches workshops throughout the USA and world and is a recognized authority on minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, and has appeared on CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC's The Today Show live, demonstrating his procedures.

Dr. Mulholland frequently directs courses for physicians and surgeons around the world on cosmetic surgery and laser skin care topics. He has authored over twenty articles and book chapters on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery topics. Dr. Mulholland's expertise has been sought on numerous television programs, talk shows, radio, as well as, national and local newspapers, to discuss various areas of cosmetic surgery, laser skin care procedures and medical spa services.
